A wide variety of Bible stories are covered, and suggestions for alternate stories to connect to the demonstrations are included. The demonstrations involve items which are easy to obtain. I'm using this with kids from kindergarten through 2nd grade, and they love it.

The object lessons are easy to put together, the items are household items. I used several for VBS and the students loved them. Enjoyed being able to put in a scripture and find a lesson to go with the scripture - AWESOME!!!!

Our church has used this resource to illustrate Bible truths for our young people. The lessons are "eye-opening" to the kids. They walk away with a new sense/understanding of God's great love for them. I highly recommend this book!

It's organized well. It's clearly written. Most of the things you'll need are simple or easy to find. I think the hardest object to find is the Sterno can. There are little illustrations to show you what to do. A scripture kind of ties them together and there are a couple of bible story ideas given for each lesson so that you can tie in the lesson. If you have more than 25 minutes to fill you'd have to have something else planned as these are kind of short, but the kids love this kind of stuff as it's hands on if you let it be. You can stretch out the time by letting the kids do it themselves individually IF the class is small enough, homogeneous, and the materials are easy enough to have multiples. My only tiny "issue" would be that a few of the topics overlap a bit, but the suggestion of the stories at the end of the "talk" is good and is a way to make it last longer and change it up. It is so nice not to have to have a coloring sheet or crossword puzzle for them every Sunday! The kids really appreciate things like this! It is very EASY to use and what I've been looking for!
