[I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review; this has, in absolutely no way, affected what I have to say in my review, nor has it affected my opinion of this product or its value.]I just received this guide today, so -- of course -- I haven't had time to thoroughly go through and learn everything about it, but just from the small bit of perusing that I have done, I can already tell this guide is going to be a great one. There is just way too much good information in here for this guide not to be an asset to anyone studying for the CLEP exam.The book is amazingly detailed, and it is well-organized and flows well.It starts off with an introduction, of course, but included with the introduction is also a list of 20 of the best test-taking tips a student can read. 90% of the test-taking tips that are included on this list are tips that I have given my very own students on numerous occasions.The next fifty or so pages are the meat of the study material. These pages talk all about microeconomics -- what the word even means, which concepts are the most important to know when discussing microeconomics, how to measure economic performance, etc. There are also sub-chapters on national income and price determination (this section was PARTICULARLY interesting to me. I actually stopped and read this entire section during my skimming. The information was great and -- although I've said this already -- very detailed) and international economics and growth.After all of this comes the practice test/study questions. The questions are difficult, which is good if you are truly studying for an exam. If the questions are too easy, then they aren't helping the reader truly learn anything.Another thing I liked about this guide was that it had several sections called "Secret Keys" that talk about the actual taking of the exam. This section is SIMILAR to the test-taking tips section, but it is more specific to the taking of standardized, timed exams, and therefore, very valuable.I love this guide. I can see how it would be very helpful to ANYONE taking the CLEP.
