Great book for US History. My teacher told me about the book and I feel that I have an advantage over my classmates that do not use the book. The book is easy to understand and covers the same material (but less boring and easier to understand) than the book we use for class.
I am taking AP US History and I was not getting a detailed understanding of the subject. I seemed to follow along in class but lacked really understanding. a mediocre understanding of the subject. This book is much more comprehensive than the class. I have been using the book for about a month and my performance on the exams has improved. The concepts and terms discussed in class now interrelate and I understand so much more than before. I like that the book gives a broad overview and a detailed discussion of the topic. I like reading the book to improve my understanding of the US History. I know so much more than my friends from class.
Great reveiw book for SAT US history. Detailed with information but not overwhelming. Teaches me what I need to know for class and in preparation for the SAT subject test. Table of contents is comprehensive with great coverage of the material in each chapter. My friend recommended this book to me and I am very happy to use it for review of material covered in class and to read ahead so I understand the concepts before my teacher talks about them. I read the chapters again after we cover them and I am really retaining what I learn.
Great book for US History. I like the way the book is written and how it covers the same topics as the SAT exam. It has been a great help to use along with my class materials to prepare for testday. Glad I am using this book for class and to prepare for the SAT subject test.
My daughter really likes this book. Her teacher told me about Sterling Prep. I bought several prep titles from them and my daughter is using the books (which is nice to see) and she says that she likes studying from them. She is more confident with the material and better prepared fro class. The paper is good quality and overall, the books seems to have great content and are written well. The material seems very high quality and targeted to the audience. She definitely is getting good use of the books and I am happy that I discovered these books. Great value for my daughter's preparation for class and the exam.
