A solid resource. The material here is presented in such a way as to be accessible for a non-biologist like myself. I find returning to the text time after time is a treat.
While the content is good overall, the authors do not alway present the material in a streamlined fashion, and it feels like some of the paragraphs are very redundant. There are also quite a number of editorial mistakes and typos present.
Good delivery but poorly written
The book is outdated and Michel J Kaiser does not do a good job in representing the current status of scientific research.
I found this textbook's writing to be rather unwieldy and its organization lacking.
This book was exactly what I needed and it came just in the right amount of time. This is a great and informative textbook.
The book arrived very fast and in perfect conditions!! This book is very good, talks about every marine regions, from the Coastal Ecossystems to the Polar regions!!! The book is small, light and have many pictures and tables!! I recommend this book, specially for university students!!
