I bought this book to learn more about the marine world. This book covers a good amount of material over the different types of marine organisms and the oceanographic side of marine science. The only downside is that the pictures that go along with the text are not colored. I would definitely recommend the exercises as a good way to reinforce the material presented in the subsections. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of this textbook.
