As a James Patterson fan, I was extremely disappointed in this book. There was no resolution to any of the characters. It felt like he'd written an outline, filled in a few places and left the reader hanging.

Disappointing. The saga of the Angel children continue but they might as well be floating toys in a stream buffeted by forces they can't control and can't see. Tandy doesn't even solve a mystery in this book. She just gets attacked repeatedly from vicious and stupid adults. Harry's on drugs, Hugo is clueless and all the adults are monsters.not recommended

CONFESSIONS: The Paris Mysteries, by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro. I have read more than 50 James Patterson books—Paris Mysteries has to be the worst. To start with one must admit the Angel children are a bit weird, not surprising though having descended from even stranger parents. I forced myself to read to the middle of the book, and then I gave up. The book might better be sold as the Paris Rip-offs. I’m hard-pressed to give this book a weak 2 on a scale of 5. Don’t waste your time.

This is the worst Patterson/co-author book I have ever read....and I have read almost all of them. This is just schlock....amateurish at best...and just silly at worst. The story and plot are just so silly and the characters are one dimensional at best and none of them are realistic nor particularly engaging. I wasn't sure I could even manage to finish reading the story...and when it was over I wondered why I had even bothered.Save your money for something else that makes some sense and gives you some sort of satisfaction and closure at the end instead of just wondering WTF this was all about anyhow and why you ended up not caring after the final climax anyway because it was just so....so....freaking lame that no one could possibly care about the protagonists and their ditzy existences. Total waste of time and money.

I was quite disappointed in James Patterson with this book. He usually makes you turn each page with excitement, anxiously seeking what happens next, but not this time. This book did not exactly entertain me. Three weak stars.

Yes I read the entire thing. It should have been a short story. The plot never really starts to develop until you turn the next page and...there is NO MORE STORY. Just as the plot begins to start, the book just ENDS with nothing resolved. I tried and tried to find a plot, but there was very little there. I think this will be the last Patterson book I ever buy or even check out of the library. Patterson needs to write a final book about Cross, and simply retire. It is ridiculous to spend more than usual for a Kindle book and be this disappointed. Do not waste your money on this one. Without Patterson's name on this book, it would be a 99 cent book in a pile at your local drug store, IF it were to get published at all.

Another great book!! I have read all of James Patterson's books and I have enjoyed them all. I am an adult and I do enjoy his YA books too. I especially like that I can share my love of reading and his YA books with my 14 year old niece and nephew. It is nice to read the same books, we enjoy them for different reasons, and be able to talk to them about them. If you have a young adult in your life try reading these books with them. You might be surprised where the conversations go.A book I would recommend to others.

I have to admit that I think the Confessions series is a bit weird, especially since it is known that the kids' parents fed them (unknowingly) mood, mind, and body-altering drugs, which has caused each Angel kid to block off their emotions, well except for anger. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy reading the series, but with each new book, the weirder the storyline gets, but I guess that is what the authors attended to do that way the readers will look forward to the next book in the series. And guess what? The third installment doesn’t exactly tie up the drama, actually it expands on it and leaves the reader asking more questions about what is going on. Overall, Confessions: The Paris Mysteries has plenty of mystery and suspense to satisfy most fans of the series, but I do recommend new readers to read the first book in the series as jumping right into the this novel will make your head spin a bit.*Disclaimer - I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest review.
