Used this book to help my nephew pass his Regents exams. Very thorough and helpful. I preferred the book opposed to online study kits, because we could write notes right on the pages and highlight things, and it was easy to access and flip through to look back and forth between the questions and answers. I liked that several past exams are provided for practice. Overall, great item and highly recommended for students. We also got the book for other topics, such as History.

I use this text a lot when teaching students. There is a large amount of material and some excellent explanations. The only thing lacking are certain explanations to the really complex questions regarding sin and cos. There is one problem I still have not figured out and an explanation would not have taken up so much more space that it would change the cost of this book. Needs to be updated with more explanations.

I have a Masters degree in Mathematics but haven't used my Trig in quite a while. So that I could assist my child in studying for this Regents I took several of the tests and found numerous errors.My favorite example, one in which 2 errors are made related to one question is in Sample Test #2. Part 1 Question 2 lists the correct answer in the answer key as choice (2). The Answers Explained section shows you how to arrive at the answer of choice (2). The Answers Explained arrives at the correct number "p=25", which can be inferred as "25 lb/sq in" based on the context of the question, and says that the correct choice is choice (2). Unfortunately in the actual test choice (2) says "24 lb/sq in" and there is no choice for "25 lb/sq in"!! But that isn't the only error in this question. The Answers Explained shows their math. They state that 20*500=1000 !!! Fortunately their division is as bad as their multiplication and divide 1000 by 400 to arrive at 25, the correct answer to be sure just not a choice on the actual sample test.Two pages later, Part 1 Question 5 has an error in labeling. The correct answer as shown in the sample test should be choice (2) but the Answer Key shows choice (3) as the correct answer. When you read the explanation in the Answers Explained, it is evident that choice (2) is correct. And then it dawns on you that the 4 choices:A BC Dwere meant to be labeled:(1) (2)(3) (4)but were instead labeled:(1) (3)(2) (4)There are more errors all over the book.Nincompoops created this book! Editors were evidently nonexistent or math illiterate. I only hope that these aren't faithful reproductions of actual Regents exams or I will be challenging my child's grade on the Trig Regents.

Purchased in April 2015, but received the 2013 printing not the 2014 printing. I did not realize this for a while, until my son started using it and did not have the same Regents Exams in the books as his classmates did. This mattered because his teacher was assigning them particular exams to practice and he did not have the 2014 exam in his book.

The current Barron's book on Algebra 2 and Trigonometry is fantastic. I would recommend it to everyone studying for the exam.

This cover was A2/trig but the body was algebra regents!!! Very disappointed! I needed this quickly so I had no time to reorder. Very very disappointing

The title didn't match the continents, the cover says algebra 2 and trig but mine was only algebra 1 and no trig
