With the number of kids diagnosed with learning disabilities steadily increasing, the need for a book like this has never been greater. I am surprised more educators had not demanded that a book like this be written 10 years ago. Fortunately, Paul Osborne has stepped in with a combination of real life experience (he too is a dyslexic test-taker) and great methods that he has developed over the course of a 10 year + career as an educator. The book contains great advice and easy to follow steps to help kids with a variety of learning differences tackle the SAT and excel. An excellent resource.

This book is easy to read with some good common sense ideas. That said, if you don't qualify for extra time, you won't have time to do the things suggested in the book. If you do qualify, this is a good investment.

I was really impressed by this SAT prep book for many reasons. I liked that the author gave advice specific to each learning disability. There is also useful advice about managing extended time. The what you think bubbles are extremely helpful. Be sure to check out the outline content too!

My son recently finished his tutoring sessions with Paul Osborne. During their sessions and for homework assignments Mr. Osborne's book was used and my son's SAT scores increased in all three areas! A wonderful book and a wonderful mentor!!
