I did not purchase this book from , but what I have to say about it that it's the REAL DEAL!!! It does have the pre-test you would expect from a GED book, but this is actually a better one than just a basic reference GED book. It tells you about the new test and shows you your weak points and describes in detail about what you actually need to study when you miss those answers!! I like the grading system, I have not seen a book like this !! I have many books but this is actually a great piece of tool if your for real about the test. It's 895 pages and it really feels like itcan do alot for you if you decide to take the test. I'm still studying and I like it alot. Great material on all the subjects, and the white with blue on the pages makes me feel like im actually taking the test,lol!!
The book is good and has helped a student I work with complete here G.E.D. I am disappointed, however, with Stech-Vaughn. I reported an error in one of the math answers and asked for a response several months ago (a previous book I had ordered) and never heard back from them.
The answer key is not always accurate but overall a good book
Very easy to use for the students, and very comprehensive. A good feature is the tests with answers and areas missed so the students know where to focus their studying. It is well done, large print and has colored highlights. The students are liking it, also.
I ordered this for my students who are working towards getting a GED. They like using it to help them get used to the new test.
works for me I pass my testes by studying from the book. You can learn a lot from this text book
