Fun read of Hyde touring the West and photographing. OK images that just never quite catch fire but do have a certain workmanlike dignity. I usually buy several used books by one person to make sure I get a broad opinion. This was the second book by Hyde.
Awesome photographs of the deserts of the American West and Southwest! Included are excellent descriptions of the areas by the author, Philip Hyde.
A really good (and large sized) book on the deserts of North American, full of beautiful photography and informative writing.
