This book is composed perfectly for easy reading. It is modern enough to be relatable to your everyday reader. I am thrilled at how compatible it is for the class that I am taking. Having to wrote essays on key points in the book I would say it is simply due to the books influx of information written at a understandable level.
Rented this for college communications class. Nothing fancy about it, typical communications book, not my first communications class. It is relatively simple to pick up the concepts and book is written well. But nothing spectacular.
I like the way that each chapter starts off with a real life example of what the chapter is about. It is also well written and easy to understand. There is also a website that is included that helps you in many ways with the terms and discussions. My book was used, but in great condition. I received an 'A' for the class!
Apart from the fact that most of the stories and scenarios used to illustrate points are apparently populated by robots who speak like adults in a children's television series, the book is decent. It was required reading and we had almost daily reading quizzes.
I bought a brand new book but it never came with the access code so now I have to buy one seperate for $90. not a happy customer :(
Tons of water damage at the bottom of the book. Other than that great book.
the class stinks but its a textbook. came as expected, good condition, but not a "fun" class. needed it for my degree, wouldn't recommend it otherwise.
