This book was everything I was hoping it would be. I'm currently in the school system and recently got hired for PRN at a SNF and needed something to catch up on the latest information for assessment writing. Everything professionally written and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this book.
This is something that will come in handy with the writing techniques of professional report writing and if you are speech language pathologist will help learn how to write the report out and has a lot of example and shows you how to write. The book shows a lot of information in details.
This book is comprehensive and easy to read. It has chapters which cover everything from determining if a formal measure is appropriate (e.g., psychometrics) to how to conduct a voice evaluation and questions to ask during an interview with a new client. An indispensible book for me. I have used it more than a few times since I bought it a year ago.
This is a great introduction to clinical assessment methods and report writing for new and old clinicians alike. This book provides a great overview of assessment targets for a variety of areas and how to describe assessments in professional writing.
