This book is perfect for first year audiology students as it gives a basic introduction to most audiological concepts and ideas.
Although there were some nice photos and illustrations, this book did not provide the detail I was hoping for. It was the assigned text for the Fundamentals of Audiology class I took last semester. I usually keep the best books in each area of Audiology and Speech Pathology, but I found that this book was not helpful for me to keep as a reference book. The book we used for Introduction to Audiology was actually more helpful than this and had a great CD-Rom...Hopefully the next edition will include some practical changes.
Excelent source to learn the principles of audiology, the anatomy, structures and function of the human ear and much more. Highly recommended!
