This printing is defective. In Chapter 10, there are diagrams that are not fully printed. This affects about 20 figures and the figures are the most important part of the anatomy book. 's return policy prevents us from returning the defective book which we discovered after the 30 day deadline for exchanges. A number of the books of students in my daughter's class have the same problem so it a problem with the printing. We need to be our advocate with the publisher.
This text is very clear and comprehensive in some ways, but in others, it really lacks the organization and detail that it would need to be more clear. For example, for many of the sections discussing nerves and muscles only discuss the placement of these structures on an anatomical plane rather than also discussing their function and relationship in the grand scheme of bodily function. It's a good book, but is in desperate need for supplementation from lecture materials or any workbooks that are available.
Every other page has cameUnglued. I need this text for the next year of my bachelors degree. Expensive book that was made cheap.
