This is an ideal travelling guide a little expensive but less to carry than a standard field guide.Could do with a second part listing more of the birds of africa.

I'm a super light packer, so decided to take this and African Wildlife pocket guide instead of a heavy wildlife book. Guides always have one or more good animal books, so decided I didn't need one. Haven't been on the trip yet, but this looks very handy and complete.

We've used several of these guides in our travels. They are much handier than a field guide when space and weight are your limiting factors.

Great! I have used this all over Africa and it is a very quick and visual way to identify birds while on safari or on nature hikes.

I was looking for a way to identify common species and this one delivered. I'll let you know how many I see.
