Great book! Not for beginners, but Its a definitely one to keep on the shelf. Nice easy read. Only down side is that the pictures are black and white. I still give it five stars because I enjoy this book and would definitely recommend it.
An excellent book full of useful information! It is focused on the home grower and specifically outlines a step by step, 'do it yourself' approach.I am personally impressed on how the author thoroughly and systematically shows the process of making your own equipment.Using this as a reference, anyone should be able to grow mushrooms in their own home. The cleverly made Sourcing Guide at the end of the book has useful advice in finding various equipments and items needed.In terms of ease of use, this is an excellent book on mushroom growing.
Love it.... Best book on bulk growing i have come across. I have a extensive book collection on p. cubensis and Magic Mushroom Grower's Guide is at the top. Very easy to read and understand. Wealth off information that the home hobbyist can actually put to use and succeed. My only 1 complaint is that it only has black and white pics. Makes it a little harder to follow in contaminants chapter. But don't let that discouraged you from purchasing it.....
This book is well organized and easy to follow. It feels a bit like a recipe book with a method and pictures for every step. Follow the instructions in this book and you'll be growing tons of mushrooms in no time!
This is a great little guide book. It's laid out like a series of teks with numbered steps and accompanying images to depict each step. With discussion and explanations throughout. While this book isn't as in depth as something like 'The Mushroom Cultivator' by Paul Stamets (essential reading for any aspiring mycologist), it does provide a great, easy to follow guide to getting started. Its written in a relaxed, conversational tone that should make it accessible to anyone. Great book!
