This is a good book. It was purchased for a Christian College class, but it is not Christian specific. It is good at talking about trauma, but it is a very secular perspective. I found that in the few places that it did talk about religions, it was very poor stereotypes of those religions.

Rented this for a Psych class. Our whole class expressed how much we enjoyed reading it several times during the semester. Well researched; and an easy and engaging read. Will purchase my own personal copy.

Dr. Lopez Levers has successfully crafted a text for those dedicated to counseling patients exposed to traumatic events. Her writing is clear and succinct. She eloquently draws from decades of experience. Phenomenally, Dr. Lopez Levers has woven the chapters together bringing insight and clarity to a complex realm.

Fast shipment. Mint Condition, I used this textbook frequently in class. The material was easy to read. I would recommend it to others in the Counseling Field.

Very informative and well written. Perfect companion for my class. Must have for grad school and psy student furthering their education.

Disappointed in the writing of this book. It often felt disjointed. Have read better on the subject.
