I need another book like I need a hole in the head. But if holes in my head were as beautiful and fascinating as this book, my head would look like swiss cheese. Jeffreys has a gift for capturing the presence and intelligence of these birds.
The photographs in this book are so beautful and the oddities of each bird really come through. I've been following Leila Jeffreys for years and was so glad this book was published. Pure pleasure
Good photography, however, a lot of parrot type birds which aren't my favorite. Depends on personal like.
