My wife loves Butterflies so I got this for her as a Christmas Present. The book has excellent color photographs and information on all the butterflies and moths that you might find in Ohio.My wife will use this book to identify these "flying flowers", keep track of the ones she's seen. A great summertime hobby.
In our butterfly garden we have butterfly's all day long and I always wondered what they were called. This book is perfect for the average enthusiast! Also would be great for the expert. I found the writing, information, and pictures to be easy to understand, helpful and very informative. Highly recommend it! Especially good for those, like myself, who do not want to become experts but to have a good knowledge of the butterfly's that visit their gardens!
I love this book's easy to use guide. I used this over the summer for research, even my professor sang its praises. It's not perfect, I had to use another butterfly book in conjunction with this (as expected for throughout understanding). But this is ideal for anyone in Ohio just wanting to know the names and habits of their lovely garden visiting friends.
This is a great field guide for anyone interested in Butterflies commonly found in the Buckeye State. It has been hugely helpful.
