This is an absolutely marvellous book! Misuaki Iwago should get a top award for this publication. It is truly amazing how he managed to get photos of lions and house cats in identical poses or doing identical things. What he has done is almost unbelievable. Even the expression in the eyes of both species is remarkable. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Both children and adults will find the book of great interest. It's the kind of book that one wants to keep going back to . . . and to treasure.
Gave several copies of this book as gifts to friends who are kitty people. It is a beautiful book with gorgeous photographs. Each page features a picture of a kitty in a particular pose or setting and the opposing page shows a lion in a similar pose or setting. How very alike the big cats and little cats really are. Very little text, just terrific photos. A perfect gift for kitty lovers.
I read about this book online and decided to get it for a friend who loves cats as a Christmas gift. I did sneak a peek and found that, although I am not a cat lover, I enjoyed this book. The photography is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who likes animals, especially cats.
Love, love, love this book. The pictures and comparisons are amazing! It makes you think about our little house cats are little lions inside and vice versa. I highly recommend this book for cat and animal lovers alike.
