Our children love this story! This is a very cute, imaginative tale that brings joy to the eyes of my children. Their imagination kicks into gear and they watch intently for what dinosaur will be on the next page.
This is a great book for young children. It brings to life the ideas that probably float around in the heads of many youngsters. As a teacher I have used it to peak students imaginations to produce our own class books about what could happen if dinosaurs came back.
Love to use this book in my art classroom. The drawings are really simple and easy for children to replicate. It's also a great jumping off point for journal writing (What do you think would happen if the dinosaurs came back?).
I love using this book as an inspiration for children's drawings. The kids draw the cities in black and white and then make a dinosaur out of colored construction paper and glue in front of the city. They love the idea of dinosaurs being helpful rather than destructive.
I read this book to my nephews for years when they went through their dinosaur obsession stage. Now my son is four and on the same stage...dreaming about dinosaurs, talking about them day and night. I love this little book and children will as well, the illustrations are pleasing and idea is a common fantasy of children and adults alike. It will make children and adults smile and encourage using imagination.
I love this book for writing. It has silly things the dinosaurs could be used for if they came back to Earth. I read it to my class and then they have to come up with another use for dinosaurs and make a page for a class book.
