This folder seems a design amalgam of Whitman's H.E. Harris & Co. folders with some additional design changes. The outside of the folder is plasticized and printed in multiple bright colors. The spine label is printed in non-metallic white letters, and the inside coin descriptions are in a black font printed on a relatively light background. All features similar to Whitman's H. E. Harris & Co. folders. However, this folder is considerably wider and taller than the typical Harris & Co. folder. Approximately 1 1/4" wider and 1 3/4" taller. If you already have a reasonable number of other Whitman folders on the shelf, this folder will clearly stand out from the rest. This larger size was solely a design decision not necessitated by the number of coins in the folder, which is relatively less, at forty-four, than most other Whitman Lincoln cent folders. There are two pages with coin slots in this folder with twenty-two slots per page. Compare this to the Harris & Co. folders for "Lincoln Cent 1941-1974" and "Lincoln Cent Starting 1975" which each have thirty slots on each of their first two pages. The folder has a third sheet which is printed on both sides and is connected to the right-side of the second page. This sheet provides a brief and primarily historical description of the design evolution of the Lincoln cent.My original folder and its replacement both arrived with the first page visibly warped outward. (i.e. a convex warp). On the original folder the bottom right corner of the plasticized cover was also slightly separated from the folder's underlying cardboard body. That is, both my copies of this folder had quality control issues. Fortunately, these types of issues are atypical of other titles from this publisher.
