This is a fantastic resource for health care professionals who want to learn more about effective financial management. This text is very well-written and easy to read. As a recent graduate student, I can compare this to other texts on the subject. This text easily surpasses the others in its value for practical use and ability to readily understand and apply the information. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking to sharpen their financial management knowledge and skills.
I bought this book for a graduate school class, but never actually had to use it for the class. Reading through the book, it has many helpful chapters that will probably come in handy later in my career.
I would have given the book 5 stars except that the authors omitted the entire chapter on marketing. We had a class assignment centered around this so the book was useless for that part of the course.
I have rented this book for ereader. This book is not easy to navigate. There is no way to know the page numbers my instructor tells me to read. There is a glitch in the system I some times I try to turn the page and it just stays on the same page until the program is shut down. There is no way to jump around the book easily and see the chapter you are in when you need to cite content. This has been a very bad ebook other books I have used are much more user friendly and you can use them as a text book this format is good for a casual read not school.
I hate having to buy textbooks because it is so expensive and the books are usually terrible. However, I am very surprised at what an engaging read. Even if this wasn't a required text, it would make good reading on this subject.
Not my favorite subject. I purchased the e-version and it is difficult to navigate. Exhibits are difficult to see. The Elsevier chapter overview questions are difficult to find in the book. It would be helpful to have answers available.
This book is very useful and clearly written. Some of the information is repetitive across chapters and you may end up looking in multiple sections of the book to fully review a topic, but the information is detailed and informative.
Helpful book.interesting source of just formation. I would think that this would be the same as the other management books. But no.
