Excellent and easy-to-read book that offers insightful strategies for students to develop and refine their leadership skills. This books is an excellent tool for all health professionals and is very well organized and easy to follow. I am sure I will be referencing and using this book for quite some time...great read.
"Leadership for Health Professionals" is well organized and builds on concepts as one progresses through the book. Not only are the chapters very informative, each chapter has great supplemental files and references that allow you to apply the information not only in the classroom, but in real world settings. I think this book is an amazing resource with a wealth of information.
This is an excellent text. It can be applicable to those outside of healthcare leadership as well. It discusses the theory of leadership, and also has an excellent coverage of the practical application of leadership theory.
there is a chapter on general theory - what makes a theory and the thought process behinnnnnnnnnnnnn....oh sorry I feel asleep reading this book again. sold this book the day after my class ended.
Textbook for a class but really enjoyed it! Thorough, interesting, applicable, up-to-date. A little wordy at time but I think you'll find that with any soft science text.
Had to buy this book for a course in my Masters program. Wayyy better than buying the one from school and its the same exact book
