I read this book for a college course. The book was sometimes a bit dry, but the dry spots never lasted long. This book is packed with information and it relates directly to health promotion and community health and it basically spells all of this out for it's readers. This book was easy to understand and it is by far the most interesting content book I have read in my three years in college. I am very impressed and I intend to keep this book as a reference book for the future.I recommend this book for any and all aspiring health educators/promoters.

Well organized. Presents a good foundation for prevention work. Writer has excellent grasp of the importance of prevention and how this relates to the Affordable Care Act.
