I needed this book for a Professional Writing class at UTPB. The class opened me up various jobs in the English field other than teaching.
Not the best text book, but had no choice for my class.
I found this book extremely useful in teaching a university course in Writing for Non-Profits (part of a Professional Writing Program), using a "service-learning" approach. The book covers many aspects of writing for a real-world audience, and includes samples of student projects. I don't understand why the book is no longer in print.
