I usually have my doubts about books, especially English books. Usually spewing out the same redundant stuff we've been taught since High School. But this one, man, what great book. They should have you dive into this stuff sooner than upper level classes, thoroughly enjoyed this.
Look, I bought this for class, so take my review with a a gain of salt. It is definitely cheaper than my school's book store and 's rate on shipping kept it still cheaper, but it's just a useless book. Almost every "lesson" it teaches is, or should be, common sense. I mean, honestly, the book tells you not to plagiarise, make sure your figures are readable, and to be polite in company emails. I don't really think you need a book to tell you that, do you? Anyway, it ships well, arrives on time, and is of decent quality in terms of binding, paper, etc. Your not getting ripped off for materials, just maybe actual content is lacking.
This book was super helpful for me while I was taking my college writing class, technical writing. We had to write a proposal for the class and this book gave a very detailed step-by-step process.
Pretty bland book but has many helpful examples
