The authors glossed over the fact that King David committed adultery with Bathsheba before he had her husband killed. They also lead you to believe that Solomon had all the wives and concubines only to develop better relations with other countries never mentioning the prohibition that God placed on the Jews not to take foreign wives. Now, why does this matter? The victors write history.By sanitizing the history of our people you cause us to question everything you say. Much good material. Very poor read.
