I have purchased several stained glass-style coloring books for myself. This one was fun to color - just enough detail to make it more "grown up" than a regular coloring book. I use markers to get vibrant colors. The only problem I have is that the pages seem to curl up from using markers. I wish the paper was sturdier or manufactured in some way that would reduce the curling. Fortunately, a few days under some heavy books usually flattens the pages again.
I have a friend in a nursing home. I recently reintroduced her to the world of art - by learning how to make coloring fun. She never realized that there were actually adult coloring materials. I purchased this book for her and she absolutely loves it. She uses Crayola markers and makes absolutely beautiful designs. Once she is done, she has small tokens she can give as gifts to the other residents - she also has several on her window. Everyone remarks how beautiful they are. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it.

I thought I'd upload a small slideshow of some of the pages in this book. The designs are all consistent with those on the cover. They are sort of whimsical without being cheesy, which I appreciate.This is a beautiful coloring book with lots of complex (but not frustrating) designs. The pages are printed on vellum, which does curl up a bit when using juicy markers, so I recommend scanning a few pages at a time and printing them out on watercolor paper if you're not going for the "stained glass" effect.Overall, I'm thrilled I got this. I love the designs!
I cut these out for a project I plan to do. I used my Spectrum Noir markers and was able to get some great effects with them. I am very happy with the book. I tried to do a close up of the frogs, so you could see the circle effect from the markers.
Bought for my 98yr old grandmother who loves to color - she loved it.
Love the pictures in this book. Have already colored one. Turned out great. Have found that the stained glass ones come out better using larger felt pens. You get better coverage and better "see-through" color.
large patterns are really easy, for kids or adults. For markers, not pencil. Nicely printed on vellum paper. I am going to try decoupage with it but not sure how that will turn out.
Works out best using sharpie pens on both sides of pic so you get better color effects in bright lights such as the sun light,.
