When twelve-year-old Ryan Allen arrives at the pearly gates, he learns he’s now a “Holy Kid”—a resident of Heaven. Ryan is obedient to God’s will and calling in Heaven as he was on Earth, and the results bring light to many people. The downtrodden are encouraged, the lost are saved, and the Holy Spirit moves powerfully as Ryan embraces the joy of his eternal destiny.

When we think of heaven, we know Jesus is there. One thing the book talked about is Jesus being a real part of your life while in heaven. He takes time with just you. I loved the children's fiction and what children can be doing in heaven. The bible gives lots of ways how heaven and earth work together which she put in the book superbly. Salvation is offered in a simple way if anyone just ask. Loved the book.
This book contains vivid imagery that added to the enjoyment of the story. Keeping in mind this is a work of fiction, it opened up a different point of view of heaven that I feel will help those that are grieving. It brought tears and also a sense of reassurance that our loved ones are no longer suffering as we do on this earth but are rejoicing in the glories of our Lord and his heaven.
This is an exceptional read for middle school to high school age kids. It would be a great book for a parent and child to read together. Although we have the Bible to tell us about heaven and life after death for believers in Jesus, this fiction story gives its readers a view of heaven from the perspective of a boy who has just arrived.
The writer gives you such a beautiful view of life in heaven. As a mother of a deceased little boy, my heart would fill with anticipation as each new chapter unfolded. I would highly recommend this book for parents that have lost children. I feel like I know this little boy, and he could even be my own.
