This was the book my toughest clinical instructor recommended to me, and my classmates who have other drug manuals wish they had this one.” – Honor F., Nursing Student“As a student nurse, I spend more time with this book than I do with my family. Easy to read, good layout, informative, to the point. It was required by my program and I have found it to be a wonderful resource.”– Jen S., Nursing Student“I am able to write nursing plans, understand disease process, and proper administration of drugs all because of this one book.”– Kia S.“Simply put, the best drug guide out there.”– Reviewer

A must-have for a nurse. I prefer the paperback to the phone app. Every week I use it at least once. The only complaint is that is doesn't contain all classes of drugs. Except for one medication that was listed two editions back that isn't present now, I love this book. It is designed for a nurse and quick reference.

I've always favored Davis's over other drug guides, but when I have to pull out the Mosby's to look for drugs that are not listed in the Davis's it really irritates me. They may very well be found within the Davis's online drug database, but if I wanted to look online for them I wouldn't have ordered a tangible book. I would've just bought an access code for online or an iPhone app. If you're looking for a comprehensive drug book, you'll end up frustrated. Guessing I should've tried Pearson.

I love that the book also comes with 1 free year of online access. Being able to make a favorites list and access by mobile phone is really handy. I also like the online button to hear how to pronounce the drug. This drug guide tells you everything you need to know!

As always, Davis Drug Guide remains the best.Keeping up to date on all the new meds and the appendix that is so important for all nurses, while trying to keep it compact enough to keep near while on the floor. I like that it still includes the drip rates and basic medical math information along with everything else.My first copy was as a student, and I find that after trying many others this is still my favorite.

Great book for nursing students taking pharmacology.

Love this book! It is loaded with information and very clear. It can be overwhelming but if you work through meds in a systematic method this book is gold.

Excellent guide, easy to find the information you need, highlights major points. Recommend davis to anyone in nursing

Of all the drug references I've used, I like Davis the best.
