Since the passage of Roe v. Wade, the debate over reproductive rights has dominated America’s courts, legislatures, and streets. Very informative. The author attempts to give an unbiased perspective of the rights of women for modern law. She does seem biased and opinionated to some extent but I think this is probably difficult to avoid when discussing women's rights and welfare. I used this in a political science course and felt it was good for explaining the current state of affairs on these issues.
I needed this book for a class. Otherwise I probably would not have ordered it. It does give good insight of how many issues affect women.
