Required for RN school. I honestly did not read most of this book. I just listened to the lecture and hoped for the best. It covers topics on organizational structures, laws, leadership style, etc. Some of which was in my LPN Transition, Fundamentals, and Med-Surg book. No practice questions in the book.
This is an essential textbook to have for fourth level nursing. It helps to more clearly understand your position in the hierarchy of the hospital or nursing skills necessary for management and delegation.
It was a mandatory book for a nursing course so how great could it really be? It was pretty easy to read and does include a lot of little stories to help explain content.
This is a really great text. I wanted to keep it after renting it for nursing school.
