It's pretty heavy, and bulky, and it has a lot of nonsense factoids, but it is what the seller said it was--for the most part. It's a book filled with medical definitions. Shipping was at a decent pace. Not a lot to complain about.
This is the book every life science student should have before starting their first undergraduate semester. And it will be the book to keep and reference for future study and work. It is well written, easy to read, and will give your student a head start with all life science fields. The perfect gift for students studying nursing, pre-med, physical therapy, medical transcription, biology, etc.
Great book to have! I had to have it because it was the required textbook for a class, but I must say that I would've purchased it to have for reference if I didn't have to have it! Great book with a lot of review questions. I like that all of the terms are at the end of each chapter as well as in tables, broken down even further within the chapters instead of just at the end of the book.
