Excellent of course but we used this at work and I'm well familiar with this. I'm more comfortable with Optum products anyway and will always buy their products for work. I use this everyday to assist me in coding, a resource I wouldn't do without.

Although it does not replace the AMA issued CPT book, it is a great supplement. I keep it at my desk for clarifying those procedures that I don't encounter very often. ED coding means you do have a variety of procedures and our ER seems to be doing more things right in the ED instead of transferring them to amb surg if they can.

A must have for coders that apply CPT codes for physician services and facility coding

Comes in very handy when coding very intricate procedures.

I don't know what I would do without this book!
