I was taking a course, and I needed this book for the course. I am so glad that I received it on time, it help tremendous, without this book I would not be able to take the test. The course is up in March, and luckily for me I already finished the course, did all the test and got great passing grades. Yes this book is very informative, if you read the book it is easy to understand.
This book is great!!! Helps me practice coding and learn new medical abbreviations. It does not only give you codes it breaks down the infection or pathogen and explains to you what it is. The workbook is great as well. The scenarios help you figure out which information is important and you need to abstract so you can code only the important info
We are using this book in my course study, and I have found it very easy to learn. It goes through every chapter of the ICD 10 CM and explains procedures, guidelines, modifiers, and helpful tools to coding efficiently. Very helpful book!

This book did not come with answer, how am i suppose to know if my answers are correct?
There are not only no answers but there is no book to buy with the answers that I can find.
I too am disappointed that there are no answers to the questions. Apparently I have to order an ICD-10 code book to get those. Also advertised as having the PCS portion in it and there is little or none of that. Not as advertised.
This book comes with no answers to the tests in the book. You can go online and get "some" answers but I didn't pay for this book so I can "kind of" learn ICD 10. A total waste if you are not a student who has a teacher with the answer book. I'm not in school. I wanted to use this book to help me get a better understanding of ICD 10 but without the answers it's a waste of time. I'm very disappointed.
