Medical Coding Quick Study AcademicI just finished a 9-month course in Medical Billing and Coding. Heard about these and ordered 5 i think. They were for medical coding in different areas, medical terminology, medical abbreviations and things like that. I used them ALL the time, and I was shocked that they actually helped me when I was studying for the CPC exam (which I passed on the first try! WEEE!!!) When I first got them and found out how valuable they would be for this course, I showed them to some of my classmates (I had them with me in school everyday) and they got them and 2 passed the course with flying colors and passed the certification exam. The other one passed the course, but barely missed the exam.If you are looking for any of the quick study guides, they are laminated and totally AWESOME!!!!
This is an great tool for coding class. It's convenient and much quicker than looking through the textbook! I highly recommend it for anyone in coding.
I thought this was a good tool to use if you need some help with coding. There are so many things to remember that I liked it all on this one sheet.
I am currently a student at college, my classes cover "Medical Billing & Coding". This product is excellent. Not only for now while I am in school, but beyond school.I am thankful that this was available.
I am currently a student taking Medical coding and billing and found this helpful because the book I have won't give answers to questions. So this helps me know that I am actually correct in my study skills. This is not something you could take to sit for the certification. Because it is not allowed during the examination. However, it really help's as a study reference. I imagine after someone has been coding for a while they may use it just as reference for a refresher or someone working after taking a vocational course and working a while until they are ready to take the certification exam.
I am currently talking a medical billing and coding class and it is wonderful to have something this reliable and handy to refer to. I have used the Quick Reference Guides in the past and loved them, so when I went back to school I knew that they would be helpful again. Would recommend them to anyone, either studying for a class or just want a reference to refer to for their job.
I am a huge fan of the BarCharts and have many. This one is nicely laminated, fits well in a binder or just by itself. They are great for a quick reference, supplementing your textbooks, or having in your workplace for a quick look. I do realize that in a world of Google some might think these obsolete. For me nothing can beat something tangible. I have not been disappointed with any of the BarCharts that I have purchased.
This is very useful especially when at work. Saves you timeand is very durable. I would recommend this to anyone.
