Does not connect to the cpa excel online reading material. It is difficult to complete lessons online and read corresponding material in this text since they are different and presented in different order. Prior editions were the exact copy of the study notes online but this is a stand alone book that does not align with the online material in any way.

I thoroughly read the book and found one to three errors every ten pages or so, which is quite a lot for a study guide for a very difficult exam. Also, the organization of the contents is quite complicated, or I can even say it is quite unorganized. I found most of the practice questions helpful, but also found a few of questions and explanations that were erroneous and confusing.

I managed to pass the REG exam on the first try with a 77. The guide is in outline format and presents the information in a clear, organized way. There are practice questions at the end of each module (chapter) and throughout the module they tell you to answer certain questions ("Now review multiple-choice questions 9-20") so it isn't as overwhelming as finishing a long chapter and then answering 100 multiple choice questions. They also have Task-Based Simulations at the end of the chapter that are very similar to what you will see on the exam. I didn't find very many errors, but this particular guide is something like 900 pages so I'm willing to overlook a missing letter on a word.I would highly recommend this study guide to anyone who has to face the stress of a CPA exam. It is best paired with the online test banks you can buy on , but I went straight to Wiley to get that because on I could only find test banks for all four exams together instead of for each section. The questions in the study guide match up well to the test banks, and with both of those together you should be able to pass.Good luck!

Awfully written, unorganized, and scarcely comprehensive! Being a non-native English speaker, I could have written the same book far better.
