I used this book religiously before the VRA and passed on the first try!!!! It has a large amount of information and a great practice test. The answers to the practice test are also summarized and helpful in explaining why each choice (a,b,c,d) is either correct or incorrect. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone who is about to take the VRA.
It helped me to become certified as a special education teacher!
This book as a number of basic grammar errors such as "ELL Learners" for English Language Learners in many places when it should just be ELL and yet in other places in the text they use ELL correctly. The sample questions contain poor choices and or run-on sentences when actually asking multiple choice question with poor wording as well. I find it difficult to believe that this material will properly prepare me for the VRA. I fail to see how this book will properly prepare me for the VRA.
