The introduction says there are hyperlinks to the answers to the questions. I have spent over two hours trying to find them. Multiple searches for "answers", "checkpoints", "key", and other search terms led to strings of dead ends. Single and double tapping the questions themselves do not work. The table of contents does not list answers to checkpoints. And so on. I did find some "answers" at location 6299. Unfortunately, I do not know where the questions are that they answer. A Grammar "Workbook"without answers is as useless as a kickstand on a tank. Please, do not waste your time and money like I did.
This English grammar workbook is most informative, has application for classroom usage. Straight-forward, full of examples, and practice sheets make language learning nonthreatening. Understandable grammar instructions help facilitate wtitten language application. Highly recommended.
I believe good grammar helps children to speak and write well and earn better grades in school, and knowing grammar virtually guarantees higher scores in the SAT exam. So I bought this nice grammar workbook for my daughter when she started to prepare her SAT exam. This workbook covers the grammar my daughter needs to know for college entrance exams, and the 24 most common grammar questions on the SAT. It includes words, sentences, grammar pitfalls, SAT grammar, grammar tests, and essay writing. It helped my daughter to sharpen her skills with practice quizzes and exercises and learn to write insightful and thought-provoking essays when she takes the SAT. My daughter tracked her progress by doing the exercises. She used this guide regularly and often, keeping it by her side as a ready reference and browsing its pages in her spare time or read it intently from cover to cover. She's already seeing how the techniques help her in her normal SAT preparation. She is now probably the top grammar student in her class. In the Beestar online SAT tests (a nice web site hs.beestar.org), she is ranked high in the honor roll. I’m very pleased with this book.
This books has some good grammar exercises, which I recommend for anyone needing improve their ACT/SAT English score. It has about 20 sets of questions to work on different aspects of grammar.The explanations in the solutions are good as well.
An excellent resource to have on hand. I am switching gears on a career path with the assistance of the extension program at the U.C. Berkeley and the fine instruction provided there. Thank you for your service.
Not my fave, a little dry. But it's okay.

Great prep or even as supplement in case you don't feel the "class" is covering grammar as it should.
