Let me first say that my daughters were both thrilled with the first edition of Horse Lover's Coloring Book #2. However, this second edition retains all of the charm of the first edition's original artwork and poetry, while providing the enhancement of clearer graphics and bolder ink. The author has updated the cover, making it a clear companion to Horse Lover's Coloring Book #1, and has improved the artwork graphics, eliminating any blurred lines or indistinct type. Each page's artwork is now surrounded by a clear boundary line, eliminating colors that might bleed out toward the edges of the book page. All in all, this second version is bolder, crisper, and cleaner, making an already lovely collection of artwork and poetry even better!
This is a great coloring book for ages 10 years through adults. Horse lovers will especially love it. It is well put together with lots of interesting pictures to color. There are several poems that are fun to read too. This book would make a very nice gift to give to someone who enjoys coloring and horses.
This is a great interdisciplinary book in that it combines artistic coloring as well as enjoyment of poetry written by the author. Because of both of those options this book can be enjoyed by children as well as adults!
