This is a great book, fully illustrated with color photos. Only complaint is it needs to be easier to find. Should have bought it sooner
This is perfect for rock hounding in New Mexico. Great pictures of raw rocks. Very helpful with known locations. Love the book.
I have the same information on minerals in several of my mineral books. I thought it would be more specific to New Mexico but it is pretty plain and simple. I would not waste my time buying this book. You are better off with a good mineral book like Smithsonian or Audubon than buying this book.
