This book was an excellent pick-up on my trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. It's a terrific introduction to mammals of the park that are so exciting, but weren't well known to me. The book opened my eyes in the park, and kept me learning on the plane home. I even used it later to engage my toddler niece in the animal life of the park -- and although she was not on the trip, the book made an impression that kept her talking about a class of animals a year later. I liked this book so much that now, whenever I visit a national park, I look for something like this if it exists.

pretty much a great thing to have if you live near the mountains. more pictures would make it a better book but the ones they have (one per mammal, tops)are still good enough and clear

Great book. Super deal.
