Excellent beginner's book about rocks and minerals. photos are spot on, clear and very detailed. good for beginner to use as a field guide and pointing out those details ones needs to beginning to identify a sample.
We bought this to help ID rocks on a road trip through the West. It gave us some information, but I wish we had a book with more in it.
