I ordered books 5-8 in this series after purchasing and liking the first 4. Unfortunately these books seem to be geared to an older audience. Book 7 in particular, deals with issues of weight loss, wanting to be thin, and modeling. While the character in this book makes the right decision in the end and realizes that God made her perfect, I don't want to even put these ideas into my child's head. I will probably hold onto this set of books and may give it to my daugthers when they are a little bit older. My oldest is an avid reader and is 7.
It is an awesome book if your into these things or u just like to read about sports. I loved it.
I bought this book for my granddaughter. I enjoy what Beverly Lewis writes & have started buying for her. I have bought other books for her written byBeverly Lewis also.
