I got this book for my nephew who opted to take this test versus finishing his senior year of high school. He asked for my help with the math, but having been out of school for several years and not knowing specifically what type of math is on this test, I hoped to find a book with some specifics. I reviewed every section of this book and I was impressed with how well it organized the information and provided examples. I was grateful to receive this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.To start, this book has an excellent introduction. It explains what the GED test is, how the test is administered, what all the sections/topics are, how many questions are in each section and how much time is allotted for each section. They also explain how the test is scored. The Sections are as follows: Math, Reasoning through Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The last section of this book includes Practice tests for each section and answer keys; an added plus.Each section is broken down into sub-sections sand those sections are broken down even further. Each sub-section includes plenty of examples to understand the subject matter. I highly recommend this book for anyone tackling this test. I don’t think there is another book around that could present this information in a better format.

P.D.)I am seventeen and have never done great in school, even though I could have.In grade school, I was the kid who ALWAYS forgot their homework. In middle school, I started online classes and drifted through, relying on Google search, my friends and mother.By the time I got to high school, attending the town brick and mortar school, I was pretty jaded with my own education and attended my Freshman year, honestly, very lost and confused. As a Sophomore, I was giving up on traditional schooling and tried signing up for a dual enrollment program. This program would have helped me earn college credits at the same time I worked to receive my diploma. My Accuplacer scores caused so much excitement that the program couldn't wait to have me ... until they received my high school transcripts. They couldn't do anything with a half credit accumulated over a year and a half.At this point I very nearly gave up completely but my girlfriend, a year older than myself, had gotten her GED through the adult education center, which doubles as a community college. This center has had a much higher success rate than most in Colorado since the 2014 update, so I figured I'd at least try it out.About six months later, I'm ready to pass each section of the test but mathematics. Currently, our center isn't offering classes, an attempt at a summer break. As such, I began searching for a summer companion that would help me with maths while I wait for classes to start again. At just the right time, I - through my mother - was given the chance to receive this book for reviewing purposes .
