This set has two major flaws.1. It does NOT have every combination. For example, if you want to separate just the three times tables for your child, there may not be a 3x8, but there will be an 8x3 somewhere. So they're inconsistent. And if you want to do the four times tables tomorrow, you may have to "steal" 4x3 from your "threes" set. It's impossible to separate the cards into 12 sets of one through 12.2. Each card has a value on both sides. So if you separate just the threes, you can't also make a stack of, for example, the fours to do next. Some of the cards you need will be on the back of other cards. So you constantly have to go through all the cards (both sides) to assemble a set for any given number. They're not in any predictable order, either. If the 12s were on the backs of the ones, and the 11s were on the backs of the twos it would be a lot better.Overall, these are more trouble than they're worth, and I'd recommend getting a Sharpie and some index cards and just making them yourself.
These are very annoying the way hey are set-up. I wanted straight forward flash cards that had the number sentence on the front and the answer on the back. These are not like that at all. They have number sentences on both sides, and the answers on opposite sides. The answer is written really small and difficult to read. They also do not duplicate sentences, for instance they have 1 x 2, but not 2 x 1. This is frustrating because the children learn each set of individual number sentences, so if you are missing certain ones I causes confusion.
These cards are fine. The answers are on the opposite side in tiny writing. I should have read the description or the reviews better because I was assuming that these cards had the problem on one side and the nothing but the solution on the opposite side. That way when my son missed one, I could flip it over and he'd visually see the answer. These don't really work like thst. Other than that, they are good.
Flash cards are flash cards. These are sturdy and all the tables are there all the way up to 12. There is an app that i could have used but I never got around to down loading it.
For flashcards, they're what we needed and expected. I bought two packs--one for home, one for school. Quality is good. I'd buy again if we had to, but I'm confident they'll make it through two kids.
These cards are thick and sturdy, I don't have to worry about them falling apart. The writing is large and clear. The design is something that holds my son's interest and makes math fun.
My granddaughter is required to have two packs of these: one for home and one for school. These are exactly what she needs.
