I've been coding for about 16 years now, and have read countless programming. This is by far one of the worst books I've ever read.* Terrible English - it's almost as if the person isn't a native speaker and didn't bother to have someone proofread the book. Run on sentences galore, and awkward phrasing everywhere. I'm not a picky reader and this gave me a headache.* Terrible Structure - he's talking about variable types, but does really explain what a Tuple is or how to use it. For Dictionaries, he basically says you don't really need to worry about it, but it's kinda like a list. Huh???The book reads like a 13 y/o who flunk English wrote it.I really hope the other positive reviews are just his friends and not people who honestly believe this is a good Python book.
This book is very basics and fundamentals of Python language were discussed and the author did in an interactive manner, uncomplicated so regardless of his initial knowledge of Python, the lessons are easy to understand. The author has covered all the necessary functions and modules area's instance, exception handling and data types in Python.Thank to the author for his great work.
This book is about Python Programming. I look through it after class to better understand the lesson we had that day. I also study it along with my notes before a test. I feel more comfortable. Even though it's a crash course, it wasn't too difficult for a beginner like me to follow. Great directions and examples are contains in this book. This book really gives me some interesting lessons, and every chapter was more interesting than previous chapter. Really complete book about Python.

I admit I still need to study more and do a lot of research about Python but this book gave me the "boost" that I need. It discusses the basics and fundamentals of Python that I need to know. There are no holes in it when you would wonder how you got from one part to another, it is all very gradual and patient. It discussed the very basics and fundamentals of the language and the author did it in an interactive, non-complicated manner so regardless of your initial knowledge about Python, the lessons are easy to comprehend. Through this book, you'd get to learn the foundation of the language, which are very important to moving forward to the intermediate and advanced lessons of Python.

It starts from the basics of this program and explains well all that you should know and with this you are well of. The book is worth recommendable to students taking programming for they should know this type of programming.
