This pocket size book is like 2 booklets in one. At the top of the even numbered pages is an insightful commentary on the natural history and ecology of wetlands and the physiology and taxonomy of wetland plants. At the bottom is a description of one of 45 wetland plants species, including its uses to man. On the opposite page is an artistic photo where the plant's features are easily distinguishable though the plant is shown with associates in its natural environment. I'm pleased to own such an aesthetically pleasing and informative little volume.
