My husband had me researching individual fish species online for hours. I came across this book and decided to order it. It was shipped very quickly and he LOVES it. He is not a reader, but he loves this book and picks it up off the coffee table daily. We live on the Gulf coast and enjoy saltwater and freshwater fishing. Will be ordering the saltwater addition for his birthday. Great gift for a man that loves to fish... he can get his "fix" even on rainy days =).
Did not like it from a North American perspective. Lots of information on North American fish missing and some information that was totally incorrect (Largemouth Bass referred to as "Billy Bass" - the singing, animatronic, wall-mounted "fish" often received as a gag gift).
This book is amazing. It was everything I wanted. I am very happy. The book was in perfect condition and shipping was fast!
I got this book for one of my kids and he just love it he spends hours looking and learning about fresh water fish, non mentioning that he is a very good fisherman already. great book highly recommended.
A great learning resource for my son as he continues to learn more about fish. Wonderful pictures and filled with great information. Would recommend to others!
